אודות תומר עפרון
תומר עפרון הוא מוזיקאי וזמר-יוצר מדרום ישראל, הגדל במשפחה עשירה בתרבות מוזיקלית. הוא בן של המוזיקאי רן עפרון וג. היימן, ונכד של נחמן היימן, אחד מהמלחינים הגדולים בתולדות השיר העברי. עפרון החל לנגן בגיטרה בגיל 17 והשקיע עצמו בכתיבה והלחנה של יצירות משלו.
בשנת 2016 הופיע עפרון בפסטיבל הפסנתר עם להקתו "The Flowers of Ephron", בה ביצע שירים של סבו נחצה. לאחר שנה הוציא EP בן שש שירים בשם "Walking Lost", ובהמשך הוציא את האלבום "New Arrival" המספר סיפור המשתרע על פני שלוש דורות, תוך שילוב מנגינות בהשראת סבו, הוריו וסגנונו שלו של פולק-רוק. במהלך הסגר בתקופת הקורונה בגיל 30, יצר עפרון את האלבום "Other Side" - אלבום שירי ילדים בשיתוף עם אחותו הצעירה זוהר.
עפרון פעיל בהופעות בכל רחבי ישראל, וממשיך להנציח את מורשתו המוזיקלית של סבו נחצה בהופעות בבתי אבות ובמקומות נוספים. במשך תשע שנים בעולם המוזיקה, הוא בנה קריירה המשלבת מסורת משפחתית עם ביטוי אמנותי עצמאי.
About Tomer Efron
Tomer Ephron is a musician and singer-songwriter from southern Israel, raised in a family rich with musical culture. He is the son of musician Ran Ephron and C. Heiman, and grandson of Nachman Heiman, one of the greatest composers in Hebrew song history. Ephron began playing guitar at age 17 and devoted himself to writing and composing his own works.
In 2016, Ephron performed at the Piano Festival with his band "The Flowers of Ephron," performing songs by his grandfather Nachtzah. A year later, he released an EP of six songs titled "Walking Lost," followed by the album "New Arrival," which tells a story spanning three generations, incorporating melodies inspired by his grandfather, his parents, and his own folk-rock style. During the coronavirus lockdown at age 30, Ephron created "Other Side"—an album of children's songs in collaboration with his younger sister Zohar.
Ephron performs throughout Israel and continues to preserve the musical legacy of his grandfather Nachtzah through performances in nursing homes and other venues. Over nine years in music, he has built a career that blends family tradition with independent artistic expression.
